The authentic Tuscan cuisine of Siena Restaurant brings the flavors of Italy right to the heart of Federal Hill. Guests have been enjoying delicious Sienese dishes in their warm and lively atmosphere since 2005. The Tarro brothers welcome you to travel by way of your palette to the beautiful Italian city their restaurant is named after.

With a menu that caters to all tastes, guests can enjoy a delicious variety of dishes native to the rich culinary region of Tuscany. Start your meal off right with the Calamari all’ Aceto Balsamico, fried calamari rings tossed with hot cherry peppers, accompanied by diced tomatoes and a balsamic reduction. A dish that boasts big flavor as well as size is the Polpette Grande; their signature extra-large meatball. This deliciously shareable dish is a mix of sirloin, veal and pork that is topped with San Marzano marinara, a large scoop of Ricotta cheese, Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh basil.

For pasta lovers, the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese is a must-try. Delicious pasta is tossed in a true Bolognese sauce of pork, pancetta, sirloin, diced vegetables, tomatoes and a touch of cream, finished with Parmigiano-Reggiano. Or, savor their Brasato, a boneless beef short rib braised in a hearty stock of wine, vegetables, tomato and garlic then ladled over creamy Parmigiano-Reggiano risotto.

By this coming fall, guests dining at their Providence location can enjoy a newly dedicated bar and lounge area, special accommodations for private dining and events, plus a full kitchen expansion. Be sure to visit Siena during the new Federal Hill Summer Festival, June 23-25. Although the street will be closed to cars, their doors will be open - welcoming you to grab a bite, enjoy the music and old world charm of this historic neighborhood.
