House of Hope invites you to buy local this holiday season at their new boutique. It offers unqiue merchandise from around the country, each supporting various missions.
House of Hope's CDC Boutique is a social venture and workforce development program for formerly homeless woman. Particpants complete a 6-week sewing program where they not only learn the craft, but also the skills they need to re-enter the workforce. House of Hope Boutique Originals are purses, totes, and other bags produce by formerly homeless woman in the program that are then sold all over the state. The money generated from sales goes right back into the program to train more women.
The store features House of Hope Boutique Originals as well as other social venture products. All merchandise in the store supports a mission, from jewelry made from scrap metal of missiles that gives money to Veterans' programs, to t-shirts that give a shirt to a homeless child.
